One of the biggest things I took away from my birthing classes in regards to postpartum stuff was... In order to take care of baby, you need to take care of yourself. It has stuck with me through all the blow outs, spit ups and raggedy hair and pajama days.
It's easy to loose yourself in Motherhood. I can see how easily you forget yourself, your identity. But I refuse to let that happen to me. I want to be me, and be the best mom I can be. Because by taking care of myself. I can take the best possible care of my baby. For me it's little things, like showering (haha) having clean hair, nails painted, maybe a little self tan because WHITE AF. And getting ready throughout the week. This little polka dot dress does just the trick. With it's ultra flattering wrap waist and perfect length I feel like a million bucks.
