what i love most about our home is its the sliver of calm in this bustling city.

home is so important to me. its where i come home, unwind and get to relax and feel, well at home. 

your home is representation of you as an individual. i feel confident saying my home perfectly represents me. i was fortunate enough to collaborate with urban outfitters to add some of their apartment section to my house. i don't think i've ever had such a hard time choosing items in my whole life. i hope this post finds you well and you enjoy walking into my home.

1. i've almost been married for a year

4. we re did basically our whole house this weekend and i'm exhausted

is it such a bad thing to be literally obsessing over every element of this shoot? nah. like my sweet little baby kitchen, this amazing poncho from little tienda, all the colors, the amazing lighting from the stormy weather. it's just ah. so good. i've already raved over little tienda's eye for detail, and here

for some reason anything and everything that has embroidery just screams at me. it could be that as a young child my grandmother taught me the patience and skill of embroidery so my appreciation has become much great than it would have otherwise. or could it be that there are usually beautiful

there's something about a laced up top. i've seen these tops everywhere, from shop hallelu, to free people, to urban outfitters. if you haven't snagged one of these numbers you need to before they're gone. of course it's one of my favorite brands ever, cotton candy la. they are consistent with keeping up with the raddest trends and always blowing me away with what they have in stock. speaking of that 

Beauty// Crude Personal Care

alright guys, so i'm soooooo excited about this post because you all know how passionate

i am about taking care of yourself in the most natural way possible, 

that meaning feeding your body whole foods, using natural beauty products

& products around the home that are natural. soooo i heard about this 'oil' from a friend

once at a basketball game, she said that she's been using this cleansing oil and swapped

out all her current face products (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) the whole 9 yards all for 

this oil. obvi, i was immediately like, k duh. i need this. so lucky for my CRUDE found

my blog and was like hey, we are freakin' awesome and have a product you'd like, try it. 

(not really... but you get the jist). sooo here comes crude in the mail and i'm basically

peeing myself with excitement. i immediately surrender all of my facial cleanser, toner (except

rose water) & moisturizer for CRUDE.
