Wedding Invites By Me

Hi! So.... Any of you ladies out there that are planning a wedding know that money literally disappears. Between engagements, formals, invites, stamps, wedding dresses, food... yeah it's like money flies through your fingers. So I was getting super discouraged one day when trying to find the 'perfect invite' that I felt would represent Adam and I but was unique and not overly priced. That task was nearly IMPOSSIBLE. So dumb. Wedding invites are just so ridiculously priced and everyone ends up throwing them away. So I got this genius idea to design them myself... So I did. And it took hours, and tears and lots of creativity. But they came out beautiful and I couldn't be more proud of myself! I took some pictures of the finished product and I am truly in love! I designed them using a program called Pic Monkey. It's a program you can edit pictures with but also design things! So yeah, that's that and take a look and feel free to ask any questions below in the comment section and I'd be happy to share with you my dirty little secrets. Thanks babes. Hi babes! So I've been so bad at blogging 3 times a week. We have been SO busy to say the least, I feel like I can't even text people back 99% of the time because I go into panic mode because I have so much to do for the wedding! It will be here in like a MONTH! Can't believe it, I am so truly blessed and excited. But, as most of you have already seen I've BLOWN up your Instagram newsfeed with a beautiful shoot we did with Jaci Marie Smith. Because DUH. She did amazing, so I thought I would do a blog post with all the pictures so you can see all of them, because I could post for days. And probably will =). Anyways, we feel so blessed to have Jaci come and shoot our wedding in Michigan. Literally cried when we worked it out so that she could come shoot it. She is so amazing, here's a direct link to her website (found here). You know those people you just instantly connect with and there is no effect put fourth at all? Yeah she's one of those babes. How To Style Balm Apparel T's

Basically you don't have to. Haha, like you could probably prance around naked with one of Balm's Tee's on like it aint no thang. Every time I wear my 'Go Away' tee I get compliments on it! And I just love it, because it's like, k I have pink hair, I already know your staring hard... read my shirt,,, and now you feel awkward. Hahahahaa. I can basically read humans 99% of the time. Anyways, I think I want to incorporate my emotions into my posts a little bit more.

I just really hate negative people, I also hate people that don't let things go. I think mostly because I'm not one to hang around and feel sorry for myself about anything. Listen here everyone, everyone has been through that 'shitty relationship', everyone's had a 'bad accident', and most people have had something 'bad happen to a loved one.' It's life.

And you know what's so beautiful about that? Everything.

Because when you go through all those deep painful emotions, you see how beautiful life really is. And how much joy the good times bring. And you more fully appreciate beautiful positive things that come into your life. Cherish those emotions, worship those people. Love as hard as you can. Life's too damn short not to.

Achieving Perfect Makeup For Special Events ♥

Hi Babes!! It's been too long right? So many crazy things have been happening and I feel overwhelmed with thankfulness. And me and Adam tie the knot in just 6 sweet weeks! I can't believe I'll finally be his Mrs. Best feeling ever. It's such a breath of fresh air to be in a relationship that's so healthy and where we support eachother as companions and love eachother with passion. I feel very fortunate. But anyways, we got our pictures back from the amazing Tessa Barton.

We haven't gotten our formals back yet but the engagements are sooo amazing and the formals will be even better. We got pretty creative so you guys are in for a real treat for those ones. I wanted to post all the items I used to achieve this perfect airbrushed look with the makeup I did myself for our engagements. I really love doing make up and love finding out what's the hottest new brand! Face: bareMinerals BARESKIN Pure Brightening Serum Foundation / I LOVE this foundation, I applied it with my e.l.f. Powder Brush ($3.00 I'm in love). You have to shake the foundation prior to using it because it has only a few ingredients and no additives!! Which is my favorite, cow jelly on my face and in my make up is a NO GO. 

Concealer: e.l.f. Concealer / I love this concealer, its cheap and it does its job! I just got my from a local drug store and I've been using it ever sense! It's super blend-able and not cakey at all! =)

Bronzer/Blush: BD1 Blush/Bronzer Duo from Flower Beauty / Okay so I discovered Drew Barrymore has a make up line that is carried in Walmart and it's amazing! She carries this duo, it's blush and bronzer in one and I love it! The bronzer is matte, which I'm a fan of and the blush is a warm peachy shade! My favorite! I've been wearing it all summer. I love to contour with the bronzer on my nose, cheek bones, jaw and where 'the sun would hit my face'. 

Airbrush: Aero Minerale Makeup Mist shade Honey / SO IN LOVE WITH THIS. If you want that perfect airbrush finish for an important event or pictures this is your jam! Not only is it affordable, but it's super easy to apply and gives the PERFECT finishing touch to your make up! So in love. 

Eyes: NYX Suede Collection / I love the warm tones in this eye-shadow pallet. Not only is it super affordable, but it's perfect for your crease and the shades are so pretty! I used this in the crease of my eyes and to highlight some of my face.

Eyes Continued: bareMinerals shade Camp / Prettiest shade EVER. Especially if you want a dewy shimmer. I love it with my brown eyes, but I'm sure it'd look beautiful on any colored eyes!

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo shade Dark Brown / Favorite brow product ever. Not to mention it has lasted for YEARS, I apply this product with an angled brush and and top my finished blended product with Anastasia Beverly Hills Beauty Genius Clear Waterproofing Gel. This stuff keeps your brows in place and helps mess them up for a messy more natural look ♥

Eyelashes: Ardell Natural Lash - Black 120 / I applied these to my upper lashes for a more dramatic look for our pictures and so they would show better in the pictures! They looked pretty but natural! I topped the look off  with a coat of Maybellene New York The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara. It's amazing and has 2 wands, one for your top lashes and one for your bottom lashes. It's important to apply a coat of mascara when using falsies because it helps blend everything in and make everything look perfect ♥

Lips: NYX butter Lipstick shade Candy Buttons with NYX butter Gloss shade Creme Brulee over the top! Such a pretty duo together. It creates a buttery yummy look. I always line my lips for an extra pop with NYX Lipliner Pencil in 810 Natural. 

Highlighter: Naked 2 Palette shade Booty Call / This has been my go-to palette for the past year. I love it and it creates the perfect shimmer and glow for highlighting and bringing out those areas that need a little pop!

Jersey Jackets... A MUST

Hello lovelies!! I feel like I haven't been as consistent as normal with blogging, but I'm planning a freakin wedding so cut me a little slack... kiddin', but for real. Haha so stressful. Anyways, I've already ranted a time and a half about how much I love Balm Apparel's stuff. This tee is no exception. And how perfect does it look with a jersey jacket? I got this super light weight jersey jacket from Boohoo Official, and I love it. I can't wait to bust it out more in fall when its a little less HOT. But life is a real treat. Wedding planning is going well, Adam and his band Barsie are starting to play again, YAY. (Adam's my fiance). But I can't tell you how bad you need a pair of cut off boyfriend style jean shorts, I made these one from Cotton On, I found the cheapest pair of jeans I could and cut them off with a steak knife. And the seams are ripping all the way up to China Town and I just put a couple staples in the side and call it good. Haha totally okay with that. But my engagement pictures should be done this week and I can't hardly wait to share. You guys are going to DIE. K bye. xx.
