Think Pink

So ever since I dyed my hair pink I feel like I've been getting a lot of FAQ's, soooo I decided to do a FAQ page for my new pink hurrrrr.

♥ What's your natural hair color?
♥ Brown

♥ What did you do to get it so light?
♥ I went to Shep Studio in Provo and had my hair lightened to a white blonde hair color, we used plant based dye so it wasn't as harsh on my hair.

♥ Is your hair fried?
♥ Surprisingly, no, my hair is super healthy and after I cut the dead ends off it's been doing great, it has a little bit of a different texture though, which I love because it makes my hair easier to do and stays in better.

♥ Does that fade super easy?
♥ Yes, I usually touch my hair up every 2 weeks, I went to Beauty School for some time, so I know how to apply hair color correctly and to mix it to my liking, so it's not a big deal for me, if you had to see a professional hairstylist, I wouldn't recommend doing a pastel color because of $$$.

♥ Do you have to dress 'around' your hair?
♥ No, I haven't changed the way I dress at all since I dyed it, in fact, I like wearing even more busy outfits because I think it compliments it that much more.

♥ Are you keeping your hair for your wedding?
♥ Hell yes.

♥ What color line do you use?
♥ I use Hair Crazy 'too cute coral' as my base color and mix a TINY bit of hot pink amplifier. Hair Crazy in an online pastel hair company from the UK. Typically takes 10 days to receive your order and $28.00 for the tube, totally worth it though it makes the perfect color. If I don't have my Hair Crazy color handy I simply mix the hot pink amplifier with some white conditioner and let it sit in my hair for like 30 minutes, that way it's not crazy bright, even though it usually is the first couple days.

$1.00 Brow Tint In 10 Minutes ♥

Yes, this is real life. So I'm an eyebrow FREAK as most of you know. It has taken years for me to 'be happy' with my eye brows, and they are still ever changing. So if you haven't yet checked out my Everyday Eyebrow Tutorial, please do. And feel free to DM me or email me or comment me with ANY questions! I want to help anyone and everyone! Also, I don't know about you but I like to save money anywhere I can, that means eyebrow tints ladies. $35.00 a pop?? NO thank you. I think I'll go to Dollar Tree instead. But for real.

K, so I know how bad grocery store hair color is, aka totally went to beauty school and dropped out, went enough to know how bad it is though, I also know that when I am on a budget, anything flies. So once I went and checked out Dollar Trees hair color for an eye brow tint, because you basically waste the entire bottle and I was poor and in college and BAM now I'm in love.

So I decided to do a little pictorial of what exactly I do with my $1.00 eyebrow hair color tint and how big of a difference an eyebrow tint can make. If you ever feel like you can't get the right shape or your eye brows are way to drawn on you HAVE to try tinting them. It makes the biggest difference. And no ladies! Penciled in gross eyebrows are NOT hot. Sorry I feel uncomfortable even looking at your face because I can't stop staring AT THOSE BROWS. So do your self a favor and follow these guidelines and you will be a sexy, bold browed babe.

(P.S. this is a selfie tutorial, yes my mirror is gross and should have been cleaned, yes I just got done working and I'm tired and gross and my hair should have been washed a week ago, and I have zits. It's fine. This is real life people and I wanted to share with you guys so I decided to not be selfish and take one for the team.)

So this is the BEFORE, my eye brows are filled in and they are so light and it takes like 10+ minutes to do

them every morning.

This is my super expensive hair color, aka $1.07, thank you Dollar Tree. I use shade 'medium brown'.

Hahahaha so ghetto. So fabulous.

Mix the hair dye and follow instructions, and poor out a quarter size dollop in a bowl. I use paper for

easy clean up.

I use this little wand to apply my 'brow tint', I have also used a q-tip before and it works just as well.

Just be sure to avoid getting color all of the place, it normally will stain your skin for a

couple of days, which is fine but still.

Also, if you want to extend the shape of your brow now is the time to do so.

I normally fill in my color the same way I would normally do my eyebrows when filling

them in with eyebrow powder.

Apply like SO. I usually brush in an upward motion to make sure I get the full brow hair. But as

stated before, don't get too crazy.

This is kinda what you're going for after finishing applying the color on both brows.

Just make sure they're even and you have enough color on them.

Let color sit for 5-10 minutes depending on how dark you want them. I normally

allow mine to sit for 10 minutes ♥

After the color sits for 5-10 minutes your brows will look a little something like this. I use

soap and paper towels or toilet paper to gently wash of the color,

just wipe it in the direction in which your brows grow. You don't wanna

yank out all those precious hairs.

And TA-DAHH you have perfectly tinted browns, not too light, not too dark and it shaves off

precious minutes to your everyday make up. If you're lucky enough you might not even

have to fill them in after a tint! Xo ♥

Tropical Print N' Popsicles

HOKAYYYY. So if you haven't yet noticed yet via Forever21/Asos/H&M tropical print is HOT. Its fun, busy and perfect for summer! I saw this top from Electric West and I was like HOLLER I NEED THAT STAT. So amazing, what's even better about it? The whole back is open, which is like THEE cutest, plus it's nice and breezy for Utah's BEEZY weather. And the little detail on the hem,,, I can't even. This skirt is amazing too right? I wore it for our engagements! And it's amazing. And don't even try and talk to me about these golden gems on my toes... I ALREADY know.

P.S. Can we talk a minute about how stressful planning a wedding is? For real? I am so exhausted from it all the time. I remember growing up watching Bridezillas (back when I HAD cable, things change) and thinking like 'what the hell' you're psycho and everyone is trying to help you plan your wedding and you're legit crazy. And now I know why. Haha I've had a million 'I know i'm being a super annoying bratty bride' moments. Poor Adam. He's been such a trooper through it all. It will all be worth it ♥ But yeah, totally ready to just do this whole marriage thing and be hubby's and wifey's. And get a puppy. Definite must... HINT HINT Adam.

K so that's my rant, that's what's up, YES I am keeping my hair pink for the wedding, NO I will not regret it and look back and think what the heck. And YES I love my pink hair forever and always. K bye ♥

Flowy Dream Dress

Ladies... So as most of you have probably discovered, I defiantly have more of an alternative look to me... I love anything from rock star punk... to gypsy hippie. I'm all about the 70's baby. Scented Soap = Satan

K, so basically the title says all. I have never had as bad of eczema as what I have experienced this summer. Seriously the WORST. I get it behind my legs and where my arm bends, only on the right side though, annoying right? Ugly? Yes! Itchy... I literally want to die. I was desperate, I couldn't sleep at night, I was self conscious that everyone was looking at my eczema, etc. Well me and Adam were walking around the Farmers Market one Saturday and all the sudden we passed this natural soap stand. Me, being a skeptic and ingredient whore, asked a million and one questions and looked at the ingredients. And of course I only bought 1, because I was a skeptic. So I stopped using all my scented body wash, and scented lotion and diligently used this 'fragrance free, all natural soap.' And what happens?? It goes away. Completely. No itching, no scratching, no ugly scabs. And you bet your butt I went the next Saturday and bought 4 more bars. The point of this post is, if you're suffering with embarrassing itchy skin, there's a solution, stay far away from anything from the grocery store and spend a little more on fragrance free, natural soap. And by fragrance free I mean no artificial fragrances, she uses essential oils (which I'm already obsessed with) in all of her bars except one, because of popular demand, and it smells amazing I just hate artificial fragrances! All of my Soap Saviors info is below all these pics, and she makes them look so cute right?? How can you even pass up buying them! You're welcome!

So my 4 favorites are as follows:

/ 1 / Pine Tar - The darkest brown one, this one is specifically made to help with eczema as well as rosacea, it smells like ashes from a pine tree, but I've actually grown to love it!

/ 2 / Patchouli, Orange, Peppermint & Lavender - YES this smells soooo YUMMY. This one was the first one I tried and it helps my skin SO much. I think I actually prefer it over the Pine Tar.

/ 3 / Lavender and Oatmeal - This one is to DIE for too. Smells so yummy and the lavender feels so good on my poor skin! And the oats feel so nice to help exfoliate!

/ 4 / Mint and Lime - I love how refreshing this soap is! Amazing, and perfect for the morning when you need something to help wake you up!

Anyways, I'm a total sucker for this soap and I've been going back weekly to make sure I'm always stocked up. What's so awesome about this natural soap is it foams amazing, which is a must, and also, when you like was your pits (gross I know) you feel clean as a whistle. Like you just know you're clean. And there's none of that nasty residue left over. Just natural oils. Amazing.

Hello lovelies! I don't know about you but I am always looking for cool new ways to style my hair for the hot summer dayzzz! I love fun new hair styles that are different than what everyone else is wearing, but also are super cute and flirty. Today, I've put together my 6 favorite summer do's for you! / 1 / The Milk Maid - Part your hair down the middle - Braid 2 normal braids - Fasten with elastic - Bobby pin each braid at the top of your head.

/ 2 / The Half Top-Knot - Because who even wears full top knots anymore?? Part hair in half like you would for a half pony tail - Secure with elastic - Twist hair all the way to the end of the strands - Wrap around to make a knot form - Secure with an elastic.

/ 3 / The Side Pony - The 90's will never die. Simply secure a pony loosely on the side of your head - Not too high, not too low - Fluff pony with fingers and spray with hair spray to create messy look.

/ 4 / Low Buns - Part hair down the middle - Secure two loose pig tails - Before pulling hair all the way through tuck under to a loose bun - Throw on a snap back for an extra chill look.

/ 5 / Miley Cyrus Made Me Do It - She's fabulous whether you hate her or not - Part hair down the middle -Secure two pig tails near the nape of your neck - Twist hair to the ends of the strands - Wrap hair to create a knot - Secure ends with another pony tail.

/ 6 / Undone Braid - Secure a high loose messy pony near the top of your head - Braid the pony tail in a normal braid - Before securing an elastic at the end of the braid pull each section of the braid so it becomes more full and messy - Secure pony tail at the end of the braid - Pull out some front pieces for a more messy look.
