Best Friends, Soul Mates, No Words Give This Justice

Hi! So as many of you probably already know.... WE'RE ENGAGED. So I thought it would be nice to do a little post about how it all happened. I knew it was coming... for way too long... and I also knew the end of the month was coming to an end and it had to happen any day! So basically I was an anxious mess. Thursday came around and Adam called and asked me to come to the Studio to sit in on a session (I'm thinking... this is it... it's not really going to be a session... he's gotta do it!) So I get to the studio... and it's a session. I was bummed... Whatever. K so then a hour goes by and we walk out and depart from the musicians and Adam says "Wanna get some dinner?", I'm thinking yes... something quick and easy... then he says... "Follow me, let's go to Station 22." K so my heart HAD A MINI HEART ATTACK. That was the restaurant we went to the day after we both had said "I love you." I knew it was gonna happen, we ordered the same things we ordered last time the and mixed it up a little bit with our main courses and I thought it was gonna happen any minute and then... Next thing I know I'm following Adam home in my car. So now I'm freaking out more, smiling so much that I'm embarrassed, thinking (oh my gosh he can see me smiling through his rear view mirror) Which shouldn't be embarrassing at all. So I just cover my face the whole time I'm driving with my pink hair (way less noticeable right?) Haha so we get home, and there's a note on the door, and it's the sweetest most heart felt thing. It lead me to another note, and another, and another, until I had walked around the house in all the most precious places. Finally the last note was under the pillow, I had to dig for it a little and then I turned around and Adam was on his knee. The man of my dreams with the ring of my dreams. My heart about stopped and I've never felt such a flood of happiness in my entire life. Of course we had to finish the most perfect day ever with Yogurtland. I am so lucky to be blessed with a love like I have. I will forever cherish it, and nurture it and never take it for granted. I am so lucky to be best friends with my soul mate. I love you forever and always Adam. I can't wait to be a Mrs. Xo.

Purple Hair & Smock Dresses

Hi babes! So this is my first post with PURPLE hair! Crazy right?? I had no idea I'd ever be a purple head but here I am. Purple headed. It's pretty fun, sometimes I forget I have an unusually unnatural hair color and people will stare at my hair and I'm thinking 'like what dude... you have a weird face too..' and then I remember... chill out yo you have purple hair. Anyways, so I found this darling little smock dress at Boohoo Official, from the UK. P.S. if you haven't yet visited their site... Get on that stat. You can literally choose what you wear by the 'type' and it's easy shopping from there. They have current trends and the whole 9 yards. Only downside is it is from the UK and it took longer than your typical 5-7 business days. And there's import tax... But TOTALLY worth it. Because they have such amazing, cute clothes. Anyways, smock dresses are darling for this summer, I wore mine with some leggings but they are super cute with just your legs and some cute booties =). As with most my favorite pieces, you can wear them with anything! And almost anywhere. Anyways, do something fun and daring this summer, like dying your hair the color you've always wanted to but always been scared to. It's fun, and it's hair (believe it or not it grows back). Xox.

There's not much I love more then a radical band tee. I mean right? 1,000,000 ways to wear them. And can we talk about pleather skirts? YES. So great, I think everyone needs at least one leather/pleather piece in their closet, whether it's pants, an amazing leather jacket, or a skirt or even a hat! (So maybe I have all of these...). Slip Dresses = Yummy

Lovelies! I am soooo excited about what's trending right now because it's the best thing of my whole life... aka slip dresses. Thee... most... amazing... thing, like ever. Literally you slip them on and walk out the door. Did I mention they are the comfiest things in the universe? So amazing, and so fun for an effortless summer look. I got this dress from Nasty Gal and it's my new favey of the summer. I love the delicate details on the back and the beautiful floral pattern. It's not to sheer either which I LOVE. So hard to find a dress now a days that isn't too sheer! Anyways, add a slip dress to your closet and I promise you wont be disappointed. Thanks for looking babes!

Stripes on Stripes on Stripes

Thigh gaps... overrated. Toned legs... underrated. Pants that make you look like a VS long legged creature... underrated. Do you have a vertical striped pant in your closet? Probably not because they seem sooo busy when you're passing them up in the mall. But let me tell you. Vertical stripes are sooo slimming. Stripes, MOST the time are very slimming! Especially black and white. So in todays post I just went for it. I threw on Adam's comfy striped tee, and my favorite pants and I am in heaven. They do so many magical things. And like I've said a million times before mixing prints is a must. Hope this brings a little stripe inspo to your lovely day. Thanks for looking babes!

St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mist

Hi ladies! So I know that self tanning is a MUST. If you're anything like me, your work a 40 hour week and have zero time to absorb any sun… Aka your basically a vampire, but I also am concerned about wrinkles… skin cancer… etc. So I am all about finding a good self tanner for daily use at HOME. Because I don't know about you but A) spray tans are extremely over priced B) I hate standing in front of a complete stranger NAKED so that I can have a tan last for like…. a week. So I have been searching high and low for an affordable, not orange, even sprayer and I FOUND IT. K so it's called St. Moriz and you can get it at Ulta for like $12.99. It's pretty easy to apply too! All you have to do is spray it about 6-10 inches away and then I use a damp towel and I just dab it lightly after I spray it on to make sure I don't have little dots and it's all even. I can't tell you how amazing the before/after is. Haha I'm a freak and I love to see tan lines so I always wear a swim suit and it's the most amazing thing ever. I do do it outside because I did it once inside and let's just say things got DIRT-tayyyy. So do it outside and you will probably need someone to help you do the back of your hot bod. Anyways, feel free to comment/email me with any application questions and you guys seriously have to try this! I've already done my full body 2x and the can is still full. Amazing. Skin cancer free. Brown not orange. What more could you ask for? Naturally tan skin duh, but that's not an option. Xoxoxo.

You can see the amazingness of the tan lines in the middle picture! And this is in natural light as well. So no hiding if it really was orange. Oh and you can spray you hands and feet evenly as well. DREAM COME TRUE.

Alright lovelies. How many times do you catch yourself saying... Gosh I just wanna find some goodies at the thrift store aka DI and then you start rationalizing that thought and think... "No, it smells funny, everyone looks at me weird, and it takes years to find anything DECENT." Yeah, my entire thought process every time I try to go thrifting. Oh and did I mention once I bought something from the DI and it was this ridick white jump suit in which I literally walked out the door in, wore it for some odd hours and finally took it off for din din... and what do I see, friggin' shart... in... the... bottom... of my pants. NOT courtesy of me BTW. So not LOL. My mom bought died laughing and I was mortified. Anyways, the moral of this story is that taking out the middle man of thrifting, aka YOU is so necessary. That's why I'm so excited to share with you guys about Dao Thrift. She has an instagram shop [@daothrift] as well as a website [found here]. And she has the cutest most affordable thrift findings ever. Plus she does 'try on's' so you know what the heck you're actually buying! Yes!
