Plaid & A Touch Of Lace

Babes. This week has been FLYING by. Don't ya think? It was so nice having a three day weekend but getting back into the swing of things took a minute! Anyways, I'm loving anything grungy at the moment. I think that I just feel like it goes better with my new do! And I always love me some plaid. I just got this tank from the one and only Nasty Gal and I'm in love with the fabric and the cut of the tank, it's a little different from your normal basic tank! I had to put a little lace bralette under it because of the cut of the tank but I think that adds a perfect little delicate touch to the overall look! I also am so in love with these sunnies! Nasty Gal was having a sell and they sent me them with my order so it was like Christmas in a box! So happy about this little surprise! Well thanks for looking! Chill Out Bro

Hello! I don't know about you guys but sometimes I just need to dress comfy. Like basically all the time.... But I try to make sure I chill out on the 'chillin' out' sometimes. But in today's post I basically just wanted a super chill 'errand running' outfit. Or basically I didn't wanna try to hard today outfit and that's exactly what I got! I think that with the Spring weather you can still get away with wearing beanies, especially when you pair it with a tank. It's a grungy simple statement that screams Spring! I hope you guys like this! Also the raw food cleanse it still trucking along great! We are trying to ease in it because it's such a big change but I love the way my body feels already!

Raw Food Cleanse

Hi lovelies!! I've heard so much buzz lately about this whole raw food thing! And lucky for Adam and I his sister gave us this amazing book (Raw Food Cleanse by Penni Shelton) and I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of these delicious raw food recipes!! Anyways I went to our local farmers market Ridley's… which has thee most amazing deals on fresh local produce… And I got everything I could possibly think of that was a raw yummy treat. We had our first raw dinner the other night and it was AMAZING! I made the best dressing / recipe below / and paired it with fresh greens and some bright delicious veggies! The way I felt after eating a completely raw salad with homemade raw dressing was amazing! I can't believe how much of an impact dressing can have on the overall feeling of eating a salad. Anyways I will keep you guys posted on my overall results and how I feel and continue to put up some fun recipes! Also if you haven't gotten this book get it asap! Eating raw can be delicious and I've proved that to myself more than once! Hope you guys like this! XX.

I had a lot of fun taking pictures of our fresh delicious produce!! I thought I'd have some fun with it =). But anyways this book is amazing and the recipe of the dressing is as followed: 

Cilantro Lime Dressing: 

1 cup fresh cilantro

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

1/4 cup fresh orange juice

1 teaspoon lime zest

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Pinch of minced garlic

Puree cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, lime zest, salt, pepper and garlic in a blender or food processor until smooth. 

Delicious…. and super easy! In our salad I put down organic spinach, fresh broccoli (uncooked), blackberries, bell peppers, and raw unsalted cashews and topped it with the delicious dressing! I can hardly wait to get my hands on another salad with that dressing! I will post another recipe for a smoothie we've been having that is to die for and is SOOOOO healthy! Yaya! 

Pretty Punky Lace

Hi lovelies! So everyone has that old lace piece in their closet that was totally poppin' when the lace trend hit and... now... what... TIME TO MAKE THAT LACE SASSY. And it's so easy to do. Aka, old, radical, torn up denim jacket. Yes. If you don't have on of these bad boys in your closet you need to STAT. You can basically get a good jean jacket anywhere... including the DI. Yep, just thrift it up. Anyways, I just love the grungy delicateness of this outfit. It's fun, springy, and grungy... which means I CAN'T. PERFECTION. And layering chokers with longer unique glasses is fun and totally in. Do it! Thanks for looking as always babes! xx.

Taking Bart From DAY to NIGHT

K sooooo I know when you all saw my Bart Simpson outfit post initially you were thinking 'oh that's cute, but I'd never wear that,' or 'wow... that's a little wild.' But the point of that post is that you can use fun random exciting pieces like that top and bottom and pair them together into a completely different look. Which I love! In this post I took Bart Simpson from a day look found here to a night look. Or you could say it's something a little less wild! Anyways I love the outfit as a whole, but I've gotten a ton of use from the separate pieces as individual pieces. If you're not feeling 'ballsey' enough to buy the matching top and bottom print, at least give some crazy print a try =). As always thanks for looking and keep following along!! Plunging Necklines

Hi! So I have been DYING to order from Nasty Gal forever and I finally made the plunge! And I couldn't be happier. If I could choose one brand to wear for the rest of my life it would definitely be Nasty Gal. The founder of Nasty Gal actually just published a book called #GirlBoss and I am going to be reading that ASAP. I will have to do a post about it =) But this sweater was part of my Nasty Gal package and I am soooo in love. This is one of my favorite outfits. You could throw on sandals like I did and have it as an on-the-go outfit or you could throw on some heels and go out on the town! It's so versatile. Which is awesome. And this plunging neckline is to die for! But what's the most amazing... is this back pack. It's my new favorite thing in the whole entire world. I will literally make it my new purse. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS. K that's it. Super excited about this outfit. Bye loves! xx.
