Bart Simpson Til' Death

HoeeeKAY. So I've been dying to share this outfit since the minute I bought it.
I've never had an outfit that I like this much EVER. Haha. And it's just weird and goofy
like me so it all works out nicely.
Prints on prints is IN. So start doing it. Because if you don't... You'll
be left behind. Seriously, whether it's some gotti print LIKE SO or it's all floral it's all good!
Haha I've never really even watched The Simpsons before in my life...
So I just wear it instead.
It was chilley when we shot this outfit so I threw on a huge over-sized sweater
I'm in love with. It's comfy and cute and simple and adds a little feminism to
this crazy outfit. I did my hair like Miley Cyrus because when your wearing Bart Simpson
all over you're body it just makes sense.
And I'm so into wearing socks and sandals. If you haven't tried it DO IT.
There are so many cute socks everywhere right now and it just adds that
'hey I'm me and I'm rocking it' touch to any outfit. Which is what I'm all
about!! Anyways thanks for looking as always!! Keep looking and sharing because
we are so close to a darling little giveaway!!
xx.

Retro Watermelons

Hello! What the heck happened to our decent weather for like 5 days
in Utah? It's been cold as crud and I'm getting real sick of it.
Anyways...This week we get to go to Michigan!! I'm so excited it's
always so fun to travel with my babe. We fly out Wednesday night, I can hardly
wait! But today's post is a super-cute comfy one. I always love wearing things
like this when I run errands or when I just want a comfy cute effortless
look. I am totally loving all the fruit and little graphics being all over the
place that are trending right now! It's fun, cute and unique!
For years mixing patterns has been a huge NO NO. But it's totally okay now
to do it! I mixed prints and tie dye in my post today and it doesn't clash at all!
As long as the patterns have the same colors in them you can literally
mix anything. Which is so GREAT. And top-knots are my best friend!
Top-knots seemed to come super super in and then slowly became a little
less popular. But they're so effortless and take five minutes!
I played up my plain top knot by throwing on this super cute head band I found!
It's the coolest head band ever too because it has a little wire in it so you just
wrap it around your head and twist it. AWESOME for us people
that don't know how to tie a cute knot. AND THESE SUNNIES. Please, I can't.
If you don't have a pair of 'blast from the past' sunnies, you need to get on that
stat. Thanks for lookin' babes. xx.

And these shorts.... So I'm a super cheapo when it comes to covering my legs.
I wanted a pair of crop shorts that did show my 'you know' when I bent over,
but that I could also roll up and down. So I found a pair of $10.00
jeans at Cotton On and cut them up with a steak knife.
Try it. It works. You'll like it.

Nasty Gal Must-Have's

Hello humans.
Today I am just drooling over everything on Nasty Gal's website.
For those of you who don't know what Nasty Gal is you need to... like now.
A little message from Nasty Gal: Nasty Gal is a global online destination for fashion-forward,
free-thinking girls. In 2006 founder Sophia Amoruso started an eBay store selling a highly
curated selection of vintage pieces. In just five short years the shop has grown to become
an international style source offering both new and vintage clothing,
shoes, and accessories.
The name was inspired by the song and album "Nasty Gal." Betty Davis,
the patron saint of badass women, was know for her unapologetically sexy funk music
which comprises our vision of femininity- complete with lame platform thigh-high boots.
Anyways, if I could choose one place to centralize my closet from for the
rest of my life... Ya Nasty Gal.
I've put together 10 of my 'Nasty Gal Must-Haves'.
Even though you probably 'must have' everything listed on their sight.
These pieces I've chosen are basics that EVERYONE needs... whether you spend
$70.00 on an essential on Nasty Gal or get it for a steal at Target.
All these pieces are very versatile and can be styled a million different ways.
Thanks for lookin'. xx.

RAMONES

So....in case you haven't gotten the memo band tee's are IN.
Like...they're everywhere. It literally looks like someone from the 70's came and
threw up all over everything in every store. Which I'm totally not mad
about. So, I decided to get this totally stellar Ramones band t-shirt
after Adam saw it in the window and thought it was totally radical. And LEOPARD.
PLEASE I CAN'T. It is the one 'neutral' that will always be my GO TO.
Like I've worn it since elementary. Totally not mad about it. Band t's are just so
awesome. They make you feel super bad A. Yet, they're super cute.
Perfect for summer. If you don't feel like getting too crazy they'd be a perfect
swim suit cover up. But let's be honest, a band... MUSCLE t? Yeah.
And this is also my FAVORITE head-piece of all time.
I initially bought it for a wedding in Michigan with Adam. And it really brought my
whole look together. As shown below. But I love it so much I knew I had to
figure out how to throw it with a more casual look. Hence the outfit YO.
Anyone can rock a head-piece I don't even care if 'they don't look good on me'.
They're the perfect delicate touch to any outfit and are just to freakin'
die for. Wellppp thanks for looking behbs. We're almost to my
goal views for a giveaway. It's going to be rad. So please keep looking.
xx.

Shoes Shoes Shoes

Hey guys. Double post here. It's whateves. But I just got back from the mall
today (k... so I live there), and I couldn't help but notice all of the super
fun and different shoe trends that are happening this Spring! I'm not really
what I'd call a 'shoe whore'. I'm pretty cheap when it comes to shoes and for some
reason..they are SO hard for me to spend money on. But I've finally spread
my wings a little bit and I'm totally in love with what's going on this Spring.
Between the comfy sandals that are SUPER cute, thick strapped sandals,
super strappy sandals and platform sneakers/sandals I am just in love!
I put together a collage of some of my absolute favorite shoes right now.
They're from Nasty Gal, Forever21, and H&M.
Kisses. xx

5 Minute Scarf Turban

Hey babes! Do you have 5 minutes and crazy hair??
Perfect. Grab a scarf.
I don't know about you ladies but scarfs seem to be always coming in and out
of style. It's like one second I buy 50 of them and the next second they're
accumulating dust in the top of my closet.
Anywho, the good news about scarfs are that there are a million
different things you can do with them.
Hence the tutorial.
If you have 5 minutes, nappy hair, and a scarf you don't know what to
do with... You're gonna love this.

First twist your scarf so it turns into a rope like thingy. (Bare with me)
Haha having SO MUCH FUN twisting my scarf.

Second, place the rope on your head but leave out the bottom edge (where the end of the scarf is)
on your forehead. Twist around the back of your head to secure.

Third, pull the tails from behind around to the front of your forehead and cross the ends
over each other. (Like shown above)

Fourth, pull the crossed tail behind your head and tie a little tiny knot.

Fifth, twist the triangle like part of the scarf thats been dangling in front of your
face this whole time up and tuck her in.

And Ta-Da! You look like a babe and it took you 5 minutes. But no one
needs to know that =)

Cut Out And Camo

Today's post is all about grungy camo. The thing I love about camo is it won't ever
go out of style. No matter what. The best part about camo is that you can literally
wear it with anything. I got this jacket a long time ago and I have definitely gotten
my moneys worth from it! Even though this outfit is very grungy I put a cute
pale pink peplum underneath it all so I could bring a soft touch into the outfit.
And wtf can we talk about the pollen count this year? Yeah insane.
I have been dying over here today and I literally sneezed 30 times in a row.
Oh and I found the most AMAZING gluten free/vegan noodles that I made
for me and Adam for dinner tonight. I put a shrimp scampi sauce over it
with some shrimp and it was to DIE for. I will definitely be posting
about these little gem noodles soon =) Thanks for looking. xx
Remember... Give away when the blog hits 8,000 views! Thanks babes!

Floppy Hat

Hey guys! I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!
I know I did. Me and Adam drove up to my parent's house this weekend and
got to go out to a real nice dinner and then slept over and
woke up the next day and went to church with the family and headed over
to my aunt Cherrie's house to have the annual Easter egg hunt. There's money involved
so you can imagine it gets pretty crazy :). Here's a picture of us all together for Easter,
minus my sister's boyfriend because he's out of town for the weekend!

Here's a couple more pictures of my wonderful Easter :)

Today's post is an outfit that anyone can pull off this summer. It's casual,
comfy but it's also classy and you can easily dress it up with some heels and accessories.
If you haven't yet noticed I'm not super into accessories! Mostly because I wear the same
little necklace everyday and I like to keep it simple. I guess I just need to invest
most in that end of my wardrobe :). But this blouse is my favorite blouse of all time,
it looks great dressed up a little bit like it is in this outfit, but it also is so cute with a pair
of skinny jeans tucked in! There are always so many endless outfit options for pieces like
this! And I am so in love with this hat. Everything about it. It really is the statement
piece for this outfit. I got this hat from Amazon actually, I splurged a little bit but
it was definitely worth it :) If you haven't yet gotten yourself a floppy hat...
you need to get on that stat! They are so great for the summer and spring and really pull
your look together. Thanks for looking! xx
